We are working closely with a school in Kirklees area who are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic colleague to teach English throughout the school. The successful candidate will join the team of experienced teachers; they welcome applications from teachers who can bring a real enthusiasm to the school and who will continue to raise the standards of educational achievement in English. This vacancy would be suitable for an NQT looking to prosper in their career.

They have an extensive extracurricular programme and strong links with local feeder schools, junior schools, local special schools and the wider community. The successful candidate will be able to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and to enthuse and excite students of all ages and abilities.

Responisbilities:
-Planning, preparation & delivery of curriculum necessary subject matter
-Providing engaging and interactive lessons
-Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental -meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
-Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and -sporting events
-Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations
