Spirit Europe is based in Prestwick in Ayrshire. The Prestwick site is home to around 900 employees and is one of the largest employers in the local area.

The Apprenticeship Programme at Prestwick involves both on the job training and study at college. The programme takes 4 years to complete and will be the start of a rewarding career with Spirit Europe, during which you will be a part of a team, getting involved in real work, in addition to learning and developing new skills.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the Apprenticeship Programme at Prestwick candidates must meet the following selection criteria:

• At least 3 Standard grades at level 3 and above/National 4 or above to include English, Maths and a Technical subject (eg Craft & Design, Engineering Science, Design and Technology)
• Positive, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude combined with a solid level of educatioal achievement
• Good all round communication skills
• Genuine interest in engineering as a career

Selection for the Apprenticeship Programme will take place during Apr/May and will involve completion of on-line application materials (including uploading a CV and educational requirements), aptitude testing and a formal interview.

Successful applicants will commence their apprenticeship in August 2017.
