Assistant Sales Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established manufacturer of bespoke customisation work for the Commercial Vehicle Industry.

An opportunity exists to join their team as a Assistance Sales Engineer, based in their Wisbech office. Wisbech is in Cambridgeshire and is commutable from Peterborough, Chatteris, March and Kings Lynn.

You will be capable of sourcing new business across the UK (and worldwide), whilst also supporting existing customers. The successful candidate needs to be a self-motivated, professional team player with a proven track record in sales and experience of using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities as Technical Sales Engineer are, but not limited to:
- Be a key stakeholder in defining a new sales Strategy
- Improve Sales presence in the market place
- Develop new and existing customers from the current database and maintain customer relationships
- Work with the Engineering team to find competitive quotation design solutions
- Receiving sales enquiries, and offering telephone advice to customers
- Prepare detailed costings for project quotations
- Prepare basic CAD drawings for the manufacture of products

Technical Sales Engineer requirements are, but not limited to:
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated Sales Engineer and will either have experience in, or an interest in, the Commercial Vehicle Industry as well as the following:-

- Must have a full driving licence suitable for use in the UK
- Be fully proficient with MS word, Excel, Access and Power Point
- Highly developed negotiation skills and the closing of sales
