Quality Engineer looking for a new challenge?
You would be working with interesting products and prestigious clients within aerospace and nuclear manufacturing.
We're looking for driven Quality professionals with a background in engineering / mechanical manufacturing with a good understanding of Quality tools and processes. For this particular role, you will need to have some experience of hands on inspection of components and a basic understanding of quality auditing techniques. It would be great if you have a degree or HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline however relevant experience will most certainly be considered in lieu of qualifications.
This would suit someone who has an understanding of engineering design and product reliability concepts and tool sets, a knowledge of gauging and basic understanding of product material properties with a knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / six Sigma concepts, and root cause and corrective action. To have a thorough understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and associated statistical tools, you will most likely have worked in a quality role for at around 3 years or more.
