GBP25,228.20 basic. OTE GBP35,000 with shift allowance and Overtime.
Rotating shift Pattern running on a 6 week cycle (6 week shift pattern does include some weekend and night work)

Mechanical Engineer sought for a forklift engineering role with full training programme on offer.
The successful candidate will be joining an international brand renowned as one of the best materials handling businesses in the world. All equipment you will work on is own branded and there will be many engineers around you with a wealth of experience and a culture of support and development is very much in force.
The role would be open to those with forklift experience but also anyone from automotive/HGV, construction machinery, agricultural, or ex forces backgrounds, Navy and RAF transfer well. You will need strong engines knowledge, hydraulics, general mechanical and vehicle or mobile plant based electrical/electronic diagnostics equipment experience.
You will be part of rotating shift pattern on a major customer site in the Oxford area who themselves are a global household name in manufacturing. The work will involve working to a planned maintenance programme for all of the forklift trucks and attending to breakdowns on shift, you will be consistently developed in terms of technical skill and will have the chance longer term to specialise in more technical disciplines. Career development to leadership and management roles will be available to those who desire it and show the qualities required.
The Person Required:
*Experienced mechanically biased engineer from a vehicle or mobile plant machinery background
*Strong engines knowledge and vehicle based electrical fault find and repair skills
*Previous use of electronic/laptop based diagnostics equipment
*Willing to work a rotating shift pattern and work overtime in line with the needs of the business
*Hold a full driving licence and live within commutable distance of the general Oxfordshire area
