DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

HULL (£ negotiable)

The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Digital and E-commerce and will be based at our Central support office in Hull. 

Duties of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website which converts.
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
  • Drive online sales, as well as using the web and a multichannel approach to drive footfall in our branches.
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns, especially on local level.
  • Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
  • Overseeing the social media strategy for the company.
  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
  • Overseeing the redesign and population of the company website.
  • Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
  • Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels/journeys
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven.


    Requirements of the role

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or relevant digital marketing experience
  • Experience managing the entire web lifecycle (Content, links, blogs, products etc)
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
  • Experience in managing a team and external agencies.
  • Comfortable with compiling and delivering campaign reports on ROI and metrics which matter.
  • A well rounded digital marketing manager with a proven track record in delivering tangible results.
