An exciting opportunity has arisen within an impressive firm of Chartered Accountants. AJ Chambers are seeking an experienced Payroll Bureau Assistant to join an ambitious team based in Harlow, Essex. This role would consist of mainly payroll, with an aspect of bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be keen to progress, organised and have great communication skills. Duties: Working in a team, managing a portfolio of client payrolls on a weekly and monthly basisProcessing of SSPRTI reporting and CIS returnsSetting up the auto-enrolment through various pension providersCalculation of tax and NIC contributionsDealing effectively with client queries both on email and over the phoneLiaising with HMRC on any queries Candidate Requirements: Must have experience using Sage.Preferably AAT qualified or studying, but over 12 months' experience is essential.Have experience of end-to-end payroll processing in a practice setting.Have good working knowledge of Auto Enrolment is beneficial but not essential.
