Quality Systems Supervisor

Location:Doncaster

Business: At the very heart of the country's largest animal oils and fats production facility you'll find this company. With continuous 24/7 refining, production and packing processes the company delivers completely flexible and completely separate animal and vegetable based product ranges.

The Position

Applications are invited for a Quality System Supervisor at the Doncaster Site. This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

As Quality System Supervisor you will supervise the foods operation in the day to day quality of the factory, ensuring the factory is audit ready at all times and compliant with the HACCP policies and BRC. Your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:

- Supervise the quality using information provided by Group quality, management and outside sources.
- Monitor the quality within the factory and report findings back in a timely and precise manner.
- Responsible with the management team for keeping the factory audit ready at all times.
- Attend audits carried out by group quality, external suppliers and customers while ensuring the highest standards are achieved.
- Ensuring compliance with quality control criteria and all records are maintained and up to date.
- Ensure all work is carried out within the Group and site specific Quality & legislative guidelines.

Requirements

- 5 GCSE's, Grades A - C (including English), or equivalent.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Programs, including Word and Excel.
- Previous experience within a Quality environment and running/attending audits.
- Previous experience of working within a production environment.
- The ability to produce reports and communicate findings effectively.
- Competent at analysing data.
- To be able to work as part of a team and individually.
- Have a pro-active approach to problem solving and ability to escalate decisions as appropriate.
- To be able to work to tight deadlines.
