Do you have senior experience of development and asset management?
Are you looking for an inspirational new challenge?
Could you play an active role on our Management Team, maximising our asset base?
Could you make a difference to our organisation?
Freebridge Community Housing was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk's housing stock. We are registered with the Homes and Communities Agency and own and manage around 7,000 homes and 17 sheltered schemes in West Norfolk.
We employ around 200 people, including our own Property Services team of operatives. We are investing on average GBP8m annually in the local economy, meaning that we are having a big impact within our local communities.
We are a part of the e?? consortium of locally based, independent housing associations who have come together to provide affordable homes in East Anglia. e?? is committed to delivering a range of new homes across the region for people in housing need. Our combined aim is to build strong and sustainable communities by providing high quality affordable homes within well designed neighbourhoods.
Reporting directly to our Chief Executive, we are looking for someone with expert knowledge of development and asset management to join our team in this new role.
Not only will you be leading on the nationally-recognised and award-winning Hillington Square regeneration project, you will also be setting the direction for all our development activities at an exciting time for our organisation. And importantly, the successful candidate will share our values - Working Together, Empowerment, Integrity, Customer Focus and Enthusiasm.
With professional qualifications and experience in construction project management, you will have commercial skills and understanding to deliver multi-tenure developments, considering the social impact of any opportunity. You will have a thorough understanding of the total project from concept through to post project review, including financial aspects. You will have excellent communication skills, leading and managing others and reacting promptly and efficiently to challenges as they arise.
