We are looking for an enthusiastic person to train as an apprentice warehouse assistant for a clothing and homeware store. You will learn the how to sort and group accessories, such as hair accessories, small decorative items and fashion jewellery. You may learn how to carry out basic repairs and grouping accessories to ensure they are presented in the best saleable condition. You will be responsible to keep your workstation clean, tidy and safe.
This role will be working 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm)
Please note: you will work at processing benches in a warehouse environment, which
normally requires work which is both seated and standing.
With the Apprenticeship in Warehouse / Retail you will be undertaking a formal government funded qualification, your Tutor / Assessor will take you through your training. Once your 12 month course is completed you will have gained a Level 2 Diploma in Warehouse and if you haven't gained a C or above at GCSE in Maths, English and ICT you will able to gain a Level 1 in Functional Skills in these subjects. This is funded by the Apprenticeship scheme and we have funding available for ages between 16 and 18.

Requirements:
- If you have a degree or are currently undertaking a degree then you are not eligible to do an apprenticeship as it is a government funded course
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn, reliable and trustworthy
- Attention to detail, team work and the ability to work quickly
- A good work ethic to be able to achieve targets.
- Ability to be precise and detailed in your work as accuracy is important.
- Motivation and ability to work on your own initiative but also able to work as part of a team
