Logistics Coordinator

Quattro Recruitment are working with a reputable, global company based in Coventry to assist them in finding an enthusiastic, confident, team-player with excellent attention to detail who will join the logistics department, on a permanent basis.The duties for this role will include:• Liaison with drivers and internal departments to effectively resolve queries and communicate instruction• Ensure that the fleet is compliant with legislation such as servicing and repairs• Log near misses and accidents in line with procedures and company guidelines• Deputising for the transport controller during times of annual leave or absence • Accurately pre-register delivered goods on the in-house database • Complete daily drop off spreadsheets • Ad hoc duties within the scope of the roleHOURS 9-5:30 To be successful in this role, you be able to confidently work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision.
