Accounts Assistant - Immediate Start

A small, family run business based on the outskirts of Frome are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time basis, due to the urgency of the role they require someone who can start immediately. In a team of two you will be the main point of contact for all incoming calls and emails, taking orders over the phone in addition to all aspects of accounts. You will maintains the accounting ledgers, be responsible for reconciling statements and resolve account discrepancies that arise as well as any other adhoc duties that arise. The successful candidate will have a background in finance ideally as an Accounts Assistant and it is essential that you are happy to work in a small, quiet office. You will be a confident communicator both verbally and in writing, have the ability to multi task and be a confident user of all MS Office programs. Experience of using SAGE 50 would be an advantage but is not essential and candidates with an AAT qualification are also of interest.
