A conservation practice in Somerset is looking for a conservation accredited building surveyor to work alongside the principal as Practice Manager to assist in the long term development of this established business.
This opportunity offers the right applicant the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of building conservation and will provide the opportunity to gain experience across a range of conservation projects in a fully client facing role.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Conservation. You will be a chartered building surveyor with conservation accreditation's from the RICS, SPAB or IHBC. Your previous experience will have included negotiation with clients of all levels encompassing discussions on design, price and site/project management. You will be commercially aware and comfortable managing your time on a time/cost basis. Contacts within conservation regulatory bodies would be considered a bonus.
This role would see you play a leading role in all aspects of running a busy practice from Project management to Design, Marketing and line management.
