Facilities and Engineering Electrical Maintenance Engineer Magna Park & Brinklow - Milton KeynesGBP30, 400 PAThe maintenance engineer is a three week rota 06: 00-14: 00, 14: 00-22: 00, 22: 00-06: 00, weekly paid. For all positions bank holidays are considered a normal shift but any worked generate a day in lieu.On the Waitrose contract we have two sites based in Milton Keynes: Brinklow operating fresh and chilled chambers and NDC Magna Park operating an ambient chamber. We also have frozen site which is based at Reading. Dynamic, fast paced environment of that contract providing high level contract logistics customer solutions for Waitrose.Communication is required between all operations departments across all the working structures. Reporting role to Facilities and Engineering Shift Manager.Purpose of the Role The Electrical Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and small project works assigned by the Shift Manager and call logging system to support the smooth running of the operation.Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the Role Fault finding, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.Effective upkeep and performance of mechanical and electrical equipment.Carry out small project electrical installations. Equipment maintenance and warranty agreement procedures are followed.Accurate completion of maintenance reports and inspection records.Carry out planned maintenance schedules.All site, customer, company and legal requirements to be met by a good level of knowledge and application of all policies and procedures.All aspects of QSHE standards and HACCP acts are maintained and site rules and regulations are adhered to. Identify and progress continuous improvement opportunities within the department and across all areas of the operation, enhancing the service to our customer.Carrying out small project works as and when required by the customer and operations.The role accountabilities are measurable under regular review with Facilities and Engineering Shift Manager.
