Due to internal promotion, our Client, an established IFA firm in Newcastle upon Tyne, has an immediate requirement for a Pensions Technician, to enhance the development of their pension / retirement planning proposition.
Liaising with a number of Advisers, you'll provide technical report writing with a focus on pensions including drawdown, SIPPs, SSAS's and tax planning around retirement. You will specifically deal with Defined Benefit and be responsible for value reporting, cash flow modelling, pension transfer analysis and subsequent formulation of advice.
Individuals will be ideally Diploma qualified (DipFA/DipPFS) with a pension qualification (AF3/G60/R08) however, this is not essential. More importantly, is your pension experience and depth of DB pension knowledge. Candidates may currently be working as an IFA, Pensions Specialist, or Paraplanner - training will be provided. You'll have excellent communication skills, superb attention to detail and possess the confidence to manage demanding individuals and workload. Benefits will include a basic salary of up to GBP35,000, bonus, DIS X4, pension, study support and free parking. Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
