Excellent senior opportunity as external financial reporting manager for corporate business in Bradford Your new companyA European corporate within energy, utilities, engineering and business support sectors based in Bradford. They have an exciting opportunity to join their Head Office operation in Bradford as External Financial Reporting Manager.Your new roleThe focus of the role is to ensure excellent quality external reporting (Statutory, Regulatory and Stock Exchange driven) and to deliver insightful board and executive level reporting. Taking ownership of key corporate control functions such as distributions, financial ratio management and working capital control, you will provide leadership in terms of technical accounting (particularly exposure to complex financial instruments). This will be achieved through the leadership and coaching of a team. What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver results through a team while individually having current and extensive knowledge of external reporting and audit requirements, probably achieved through a Chartered firm and post practice experience. The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders is key as is focus on controls and understanding of effective business process.
