Senior Quality Inspector / Manager
Senior Quality Inspector / Manager is required for my client who operate in the West Midlands. The company the Senior Quality Inspector / Manager will be working for offer a comprehensive service to the Civil Engineering sector who design and manufacture a vast range of precast concrete products from small coping units to massive structural components. The Senior Quality Inspector / Manager will be working on a range of projects including Highways, Bridges, Train stations, Trams and Stadiums.
The ideal Senior Quality Inspector / Manager will be based in Nottinghamshire and have at least 5 years' experience, also experience of working within a precast concrete factory will be advantageous. Have a good understanding of managing external or internal audits, such as ISO9001 and others as well as keeping up to date ITP is essential for the right Senior Quality Inspector / Manager.
Senior Quality Inspector / Manager Position Overview
* Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
* Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
* Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
* Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishing quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
* Keeping up to date ITP (Inspection and test plan)
Senior Quality Inspector / Manager Position Requirements
* Good understanding of managing external or internal audits, such as ISO9001 and others.
* Previous experience of liaising with clients and customers
* Experience of working within a precast concrete factory
* At least 5 years' experience
* Experience within the Civil Engineering Sector
