HR Advisor - Leicester
Experienced HR Advisor is sought by our client in Leicester. In this role you will act as first point of contact for all Employee Relations matters and you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective HR delivery service. To be considered for this role you will a strong bias towards Employee Relations and case management. Our client is seeking an individual who can interact with all levels of staff.
Role and Accountabilities:
* Manage case work, including supporting and coaching the line managers on best practice.
* Highlights any trends from ER related issues and support on tackling issue areas
* To work with the HR Manager to ensure that service and delivery against case work is aligned with operational expectations with effective communication on SLA's.
* To support with delivering the employee relations strategy
* Reviews daily, weekly, monthly sickness/absence data, highlights trends and proactively supports the operation on reducing absence.
* To ensure all manual and electronic HR systems are maintained, fit for purpose and compliant with auditing requirements.
* To provide support as required to the Compensation and Rewards Manager during company salary review/other exercises.
* Support ad hoc department projects
* Deliver ER training materials and workshops to support leadership programmes and enable line managers to effectively manage people and any associated ER situations
Skills Knowledge & Experience:
* Fully CIPD qualified or working towards it
* Substantial previous experience either in a generalist role or specialist role.
* Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way
* Highly organised and methodical with attention to detail
* Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of employment law and practice
* Analytical and numerate
