Position: Resident Engineer
Location: Hampshire, West Sussex
Start Date: Immediate start
End Date: May 2019
Rate: GBP265 a day must have own Kit and Cad enabled laptop.
Our client is seeking to employ a Setting Out Engineer for work initially in the Hampshire / West sussex area.
The Project is a part of an GBP22 million local authority scheme and is due to run for 36months.
Responsibilities of the Setting Out Engineer:
- Setting out areas (peg-basher)
- Carrying out precise works to project specifications
- Quality Assurance
- Site Records
- Health & Safety and environmental compliance
- Compliance with contract particulars
- Monitor/check sampling and testing
- Liaison with the Engineer's site staff
- Supervision of Site when required?
Experience & Qualifications:
-RC Frame and groundwork
-CSCS card minimum (Supervision)
-4-5 years' experience as a Setting Out Engineer on Residential or commercial Schemes
-Degree in Civil Engineering, desirable
-Desirable have SMSTS or SSSTS
