Our client has been established for almost 30 years and specialise in metal finishing solutions for a diverse range of applications. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic Senior Production Manager and Manufacturing professional to complement their highly successful team.
Tasked with very quickly learning all areas of the business through a structured introduction schedule, the successful Production Manager candidate will gain exposure to all facets of the organisation from undertaking hands on production activities to working in the planning, quality and sales functions within the business before taking responsibility for managing and leading the team of operations personnel within a fast paced and varied environment.
Whilst dedicated powder coating sector experience is not required, it is envisaged that you will be realistically qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, and essentially will have completed at least 3 years post academic commercial experience ideally gained within a production manager or supervisor role allied to an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
You will be ambitious and self-motivated with a hunger to learn in order to progress your career, wanting to take on more responsibility and to be rewarded for your achievements whilst being excited by the variety of projects and challenges you will encounter.
