One of the UK's leading insurance companies is seeking to hire a Senior Supplier and Procurement Manager in what will be a key appointment in their UK operation.

You will establish and manage relationships with key suppliers ensuring standards are maintained whilst identifying and delivering continuous improvement, achieving outstanding service delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will ensure that up to date signed contracts are in place with all suppliers and that these are reviewed and updated as required to reflect current terms and conditions, requirements of company policies, are stored in a secure area and maintained in the central contract management database.

You will review, develop and drive the implementation of business initiatives to improve current commercial operating models for the benefit of business partners and customers, ensuring potential account synergies are realised.

It will also be within your remit to bring new suppliers on board when necessary. You will use continuous improvement methodology to challenge and implement best practice and establish new controls that will deliver cost, process, and customer experience and quality benefits.

You will ensure best practice is followed in all aspects of supplier management and that practice is constantly reviewed in the light of experience and market developments. Leading the procurement process for suppliers and services as appropriate, always following best practice and group requirements.

To be considered you must have procurement experience ideally from either an insurance or legal arena.

You will be rewarded with a senior level package including a 12% car allowance, a bonus of up to 20%, a market leading pension and flexible benefits package.
