European Forwarding Operator - Freight Forwarding

EUROPEAN FORWARDING OPERATOR - FREIGHT FORWARDING/IMPORT/EXPORTUp to GBP25,000 Depending on experience in ForwardingWe have a brilliant opportunity to work as a Forwarding Operator to be based in the Birmingham area specialising in Freight Forwarding operations for the European Roadfreight Import and Export market. This is the perfect role for a commercially minded individual who has gained experience of sourcing suppliers, sub contractors and 3rd parties in the European Road freight forwarding industry sector. Negotiating costings with 3rd parties, overseas agents and network partners and building strong working relationships, establishing a professional and reliable service for all customers requirements. Maximising profitability and increasing revenue/margin on all non serviced EU markets and Routes. Operationally the successful candidate will need to have a hands on approach able to liaise with internal and external customers, negotiating on costs/rates for European Full Loads, Part Loads and Groupage freight - offering a service and markets beyond those of their own network. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry, be conversant in imports and exports - excellent communication skills and able to build rapports and negotiate costings at all levels.
