At Gi Group we are looking for a Customer Service Manager for our client in the Leeds area, to manage the UK customer service teams and reporting to the European Operations Director. Providing leadership and direction to the customer service supervisors and their teams to ensure that an excellent standard of service is continuously delivered. You must be able to work on your own initiative, whilst working under pressure and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

The Customer Service Manager will lead a team who will communicate with OE /AM/ and internal Customers, helping to resolve any issues raised and working to high levels of efficiency and prioritising a heavy workload. Goals include meeting delivery PPM targets, and the delivery of a world class customer service to all markets.

Duties:

* Deliver world class customer service strategy to stay competitive in the sector.
* Direct the daily operations of UK customer service teams, plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks.
* Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
* Track and resolve customer complaints.
* Handle complex and escalated customer service issues.
* Maintain and develop customer relations.
* Identify staff training and coaching needs, evaluate and performance manage staff.
* Generate sales forecast and deliver monthly sales targets.
* Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
* Ensure customer delivery targets and met and exceeded
* Compiling month end reports including four quadrant charts and monitoring the progress for identifying the root cause and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements:

* Previous Management experience for at least 3 years preferably within a manufacturing environment and at Customer Service Supervisor or Manager level.Requirements:
* Experience in the Automotive Industry would be advantageous.
* Knowledge and experience with schedules, planning and forecasts would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills to all levels of the business both internal and externally.
* Define and communicate customer service standards, promote customers service culture.
