Electrical Fitter (HV)
Crewe
GBP25,000-GBP30,000 p/a
Alecto Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an excellent specialist HV contractor who predominantly work on Rail Infrastructure (either Heavy or Light Rail systems) based in the North West.
The Role
Qualified Electrician/Electrical Fitter with associated ECS card
- HV jointer skill desirable
- HV experience desirable
- SAP experience desirable
Nature of the projects
- Substation assembly at PSP own workshop in Crewe
- Protection and Control Panel build at PSP own workshop in Crewe
- HV substation installation works on Network Rail infrastructure
- HV substation installation works on Tram way system
- HV protection testing
- HV test and Commissioning
- HV cable installation and Jointing
- Earth Mat install
- HV substation works (other infrastructure)
Locations of work
Predominantly site based, where projects are. number of projects in London but also have projects nationwide ( London, Scotland, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield at present)
- Works will be mixed between workshop and site. This role is considered to be mainly site based.
- At busy times could be working away 12 nights at a time.
- On average working away 3 to 4 nights a week (dependent on location)
Note: provide hotels (individual rooms ) and pay for evening meal each night upto GBP25
This position offers a salary bracket of between GBP25,000-GBP30,000 p/a (Depending on Experience).
