Estates and facilities management at St Margaret's Hospice is entering into an exciting phase of development. We are looking for a Head of Estates to manage a responsive facilities service for the charity and its subsidiary companies. Our pioneering services depend upon the best people who can innovate and provide the best care possible for patients and their families.Our valuesWe are patient-centred; we are compassionate; we are respectful; we are brave; we are self-aware, we are informed and driven.About The RoleThe successful post holder will manage and develop the day to day estates operations in accordance with St Margaret's Hospice vision, strategy, targets and policies, and will ensure that responsive facilities service are delivered in a safe, timely manner, in line with governance and health and safety frameworks.In addition, the Head of Estate will play an important role in enabling improvements and development within St Margaret's Hospice providing advice and support with proposals and plans for provision of new facilities ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivery to time and quality standards within budgetary constraints.The successful applicant must have:??? Formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, minimum NEBOSH certificate;??? Experience in relevant areas of estate management for example building services, project management; planned maintenance; facilities service improvement;??? Experience and knowledge of building maintenance and budget management;???
