Residential Childcare Workers Full time and part time Locations: Taunton and Axminster Salary: Dependant on experience and qualifications Sleep ins are paid at ??68 per sleep All of our children's homes are rated as Good by OFSTED and we are looking for Residential Childcare Workers who have a passion for working with children and young people and who have a real desire to make a difference to their lives. We are focused on delivering bespoke packages of care within an environment that is creative and person centred. You will be responsible for providing day to day care for those you support, whether this is supporting them in various activities, education or other events relating to their time with us. No two days are the same so if you want a varied and rewarding role then this could be the job for you. We are an activity based organisation and you will assist in designing and drawing up a variety of activities to engage the children and give them experiences both in the UK and abroad. Preferably you will hold a Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this. We provide all of our staff with a comprehensive induction, continual professional development and the support of an experiences and qualified management team. These roles will involve shift work which includes weekends and sleeping within the home on a rota basis. If you would like to work alongside some incredible people we would love to hear from you!
