JOB TITLE: Service Manager
SALARY: Dependent on experience
WORKING HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday
THE COMPANY: Our client is achildcare organisation that provides an integrated service to young people who have experienced trauma in their lives; resulting in emotional behavioural difficulties and requiring a high level of intervention. Due to ongoing growth they are currently looking to recruit two Service Managers to join their expanding team.
THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to join a provider whose homes are rated 'outstanding' and 'good' by Ofsted. Your role as a Service Manager will be based within the management team at Head Office in Hadnall, Nr Shrewsbury, and you will be required to travel across Shropshire, Powys and Staffordshire providing support and managing the care management team.

Key Responsibilities of the Service Manager role to include:-
- To ensure that the overall Aims, Objective and Philosophy of the Care group are achieved through the maintenance of good quality practice in residential care work and education
- Provide efficient and effective overall management of approximately 6-8 individual Residential Care Home Managers
- Monitor and approve incident reports and oversee regulation reports
- To act as the designated Safeguarding officer
- Contribute to the financial planning and implementation of budgetary strategies
- Update the Directors weekly and to provide specific data and analysis, as required.
Essential criteria for the Service Manager role:
- 2 years Registered Care Manager experience
- NVQ Level 4 or above in Leadership and Management
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young People
- Full UK driving licence
