You’ll be a calm and highly efficient multitasker, but excellent customer service will be your top priority. You will manage day-to-day care provision and existing housing support and general housing services. You will be a skilled care manager who can deliver an empathetic and excellent client focussed service and you will also have the team leadership qualities to ensure you and they reach these goals. It would be advantageous if you have housing knowledge.
You will have two years experience of managing staff teams and liaison with partner agencies’/services and:
- Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 4 in Health and Social Care and Level 4 Manager Award or equivalent qualification enabling registration within 6 months of commencing employment in the post with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- However, if you do not hold the desired qualification of SVQ4 and Level 4 Manager Award, we are committed to supporting you and you must obtain these qualifications within 12 months from commencing employment in the post.
This post requires PVG Scheme membership (adults)as well as registration as a manager with the Scottish Social Services Council.
