Plant/LGV Mechanic

Applications being sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Plant/LGV mechanic in our Kilmarnock workshop.
Reporting directly to our plant and transport manager your duties will be inspecting, servicing and repairing our fleet to the highest standard ensuring all plant and vehicles are both safe and roadworthy at all times.
All candidates must have completed a recognised apprenticeship in a Plant or LGV workshop environment and have experience in working with plant trailers and other various towable equipment.
Successful candidates will also be required to carry out on site repairs and breakdowns so must hold a current full driving licence, Category BE is preferred but not essential.
In addition successful candidates must be available to work at least one day over the weekend period in order for us to continue the progression of work in our industry.
