Due to continued growth, we have an immediate permanent vacancy for a LGV Cat C+E ADR Driver (CLASS 1) – Days and Nights Shifts available (fixed days or nights) to work from our depots in Oldbury, Glasgow, Manchester, Wakefield, Manchester, Bridgend, Southampton & Luton.

You will be working with goods on a multi-drop run, week is on minimum 48 hours with overtime available. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of the goods, as well as overseeing the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure goods are in perfect condition and secured correctly to avoid damage. You would also be responsible for maintaining the condition of your vehicle, making sure it is presentable and in good condition as both you and your vehicle act as the face of our company.

The Package
• LGV Cat C+E Driver (CLASS 1) - Day Shift - £26,757.12 per annum based on a 48-hour week (currently being reviewed)
• Overtime available £10.72 per hour after 48 hours
• LGV Cat C+E Driver (CLASS 1) - Night Shift - £29,402.88 per annum based on a 48-hour week (currently being reviewed)
• Overtime available £11.78 per hour after 48 hours
• Occasional Saturday work upon request.
• Weekly pay (every Thursday)
• 20 Days plus 8 statutory holidays (28 days in total)
• Additional Holiday after 4 years’ service - Extra Day for every additional year’s service up to a maximum of 5 extra days.

The ideal candidate must:
• Can do attitude.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Occasional Saturday work upon request.
• Fantastic Health & Safety standards.
• Multi-drop experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy.
• A good customer facing and communicational skills.
• A valid and in date ADR (packages)
• IT literate as you use an in-cab PDA.
• Excellent time-keeping skills.
• Ability to fill out essential paperwork efficiently and correctly.
• Attend any essential training required to help you fulfil your role.
• Forklift experience (preferred, but not essential)

THIS IS A FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY NOT A TEMPORARY POSITION.

Applicants must have a valid CPC card, digi card and ideally at least 2 years driving experience on Class 2 vehicles (6 months on UK roads). New passes will be considered for this role depending on experience and passing a driving assessment.

No more than 6 points. Applicants with DR, DD and IN offences will not be considered for this role.
