Our Client are a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services.

They now have exciting opportunity for a Careers Advisor / Learning Mentor to join them where you will work as part of the SFA Contract (Access to employment). This is a permanent full time position based in Chester, Crewe and Warrington covering the Cheshire area.

As a Learning Mentor, you will provide support in coaching and brokering roles for customers through structured IAG and CBT, raising ambition and resilience. Challenging negative attitudes, the role involves presenting clear career pathways, recognising transferrable skills and offering continued coaching through early days of work, supporting sustainment in the workplace.

They are looking for someone who has a recognised IAG or teaching/training qualification. With first-rate communication skills and a high level of time management and planning ability, you will have excellent customer service skills and be a good team player.

The ability to travel to various locations is essential, as is have an enthusiastic and confident approach. Previous experience in building and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers is also important.
