Rate: GBP28 - GBP35 per hour

A privately owned growing Building Services Consultancy practice with offices near Fareham as well as in central London operating mainly in the Residential, Commercial and Education sector providing clients with coordinated solutions across MEP services. Actively recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to assist with ongoing workload to work on a long term contract basis with the option permanent employment.
This Building Services Consultancy employs circa 25 Engineers with significant growth plans in 2017 in order to deliver secured work load. Offering an open and friendly working environment with management support available. As well as a modern office environment onsite parking is also available.
The opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer can either be viewed as a long term contract opportunity, or an opportunity to join as permanent staff after a temporary period. The successful Building Services Design Engineer will join an existing team working on a range of interesting projects mainly in Residential as well as other sectors such as Commercial and Education.
Experience / Skills:
* Minimum of HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services.
* Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience within Mechanical Building Services Design.
* Full understanding of UK building regulations and coding (BS standards) is essential.
* Ideally experience working on Residential projects however this is not essential.
* Must be competent in the use of Hevacomp software. AutoCAD is beneficial not essential.
