Due to continued success and growth, Impetus Automotive are now looking to recruit an experienced Instructional L&D & Training Designer to be based at Volkswagen`s National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
Who are we looking for?
As our ideal Instructional Designer, you must be able to demonstrate proven experience of developing and designing training plans. You will have the ability to work with stakeholders to develop robust design briefs and have an understanding of ROI in learning & development. An understanding of the capabilities of e-learning as well as its associated development tools and software is also required.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Training Foundation - TAP??? accredited.
- Thorough understanding of Kirkpatrick`s evaluation model.
- Experience with the Adobe suite of applications.
- Any relevant Undergraduate qualification (or equivalent).
- Copy editing experience.
- An understanding of learning management systems (LMS).
What will I be responsible for?
Joining the team as our Instructional Designer, you will take responsibility for the design of cost effective and highly engaging learning that develops the necessary performance levels within the dealer network. This will involve:
- Liaising with key stakeholders within the Volkswagen Group to understand their business and people performance requirements including learning needs analysis.
- Designing and developing training material that delivers strong performance against a range of measures.
- Embracing the potential of social, collaborative and community learning to further widen learning engagement and effectiveness.
- Building on the extensive library of available factory learning content where relevant.
In order to ensure learning effectiveness and a demonstrable business impact, the design is underpinned by Kirkpatrick`s evaluation model and the Training Foundation`s Training Accreditation Programme??? (TAP).
