Store Person
Location: Cheltenham
Type of work: temporary 6 months might lead to permanent opportunity
Pay Rate: ??9.33 PAYE to ??11.18 per hour
We are now seeking to recruit a Store Person to work for a client based in Cheltenham This position would ideally suit someone with previous experience in working with mechanical or engineering parts in stores environment.
The appropriate candidate should:
Have previous experience in stores/ warehouse
Have previous experience in checking goods inwards/ outwards
The day to day activities of the stores; from receipt of raw material through to dispatch of finished goods.
Generate kitting lists and issue materials to manufacturing personnel.
Maintain accurate stock records
Ensure good housekeeping and area is kept safe and tidy
Ensure storage of components is maintained to a high standard and safely stored
Assist with packing equipment to be sent out to customers and for contract work.
Liaise with sub-contractors on stock related matters - non-technical.
Monitor stock receipts
Any other duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience working in stores/ warehouse environment
Good numeracy and computer skills.
Previous experience of using computerised goods in system for example MRP or SAP or any bespoke system.
Previous experience of good inwards and outwards
