We are seeking individuals to join our client's busy team based in Chard.
This is a fantastic company with strong chances of career progression.
You will be ensuring that the main product (cheese) are weighed, packed, stored and dispatched.
As a packing operative you will move the products when they're ready for the different stages of maturing and prepare ready for transport.
There are two weekend shifts available for this role. The hours available are:
??? 4 days, Friday - Monday (28 hours min) (Permanent)
??? 2 days - Saturday - Sunday (12 hours min) (Permanent)
Working hours vary between 6:00am and 4:30pm according to the business need, however your agreed hours will be kept as stable as possible.
In return you will receive an hourly rate of ??7.50 rising to ??7.86 after the training/probation period. You will also receive holiday pay and pension.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work at a fast pace without compromising quality or safety and understand the importance of food hygiene. A background in dairy/food industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
