Director of Sales, Southern
Reporting to: Group Sales Director
Hours: 40 hours (with a degree of flexibility to accommodate business needs)
You will be required to cover the whole of the South of England but you would be based at a Depot close to your location.
Job Description
You will be responsible for managing a team of Business Development Managers in the south of the UK, supporting them to service existing accounts and establish new accounts.
You will work closely with the Director of Sales, Northern to develop sales campaigns and growth strategies for the whole sales team and target new custom.
Reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, you will assist in providing MI for reporting, etc.
You must have strong management skills, be a self-starter and possess the skills to motivate your team to achieve and exceed targets.
You will be experienced in securing new business, establishing strategic relationships and closing deals so that you can mentor your team in these areas.
You will possess the ability to analyse and understand customer trends.
Plant hire knowledge is desirable but not essential.
This role requires a large amount of travelling.
