Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative/ Supervisor to assist in the smooth running of our business based in Frome. The ideal candidate will be extremely organised and able to complete all aspects warehouse duties accurately and communicate with the team efficiently. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Keeping up to date knowledge of our vast range of product lines * Picking and packing of orders quickly and accurately * Meet and greet visiting customers in our trade counter when required during busy periods * Querying any delivery shortages, damages or errors with suppliers * Arranging collections and shipments worldwide with our preferred courier * Taking responsibility for the smooth day to day running of the warehouse * Data input onto Sage Accounts, including booking in goods and raising GRN's * All aspects of stock management including liaising with the sales team * Ensuring the warehouse complies with Health & Safety regulations and meets ISO:9001 requirements, our governed quality standard * Application of garment branding when required, training will be given * Keeping the showroom fully stocked and up to date with popular products * Adding slow movers to our online clearance outlet * Assist with annual stock take Key skills include: * Have a meticulously high attention to detail for keeping the warehouse organised & tidy. * Strong IT skills to include all aspects of Microsoft Office. Experience with Sage is desirable, however full training will be given. * Being a self-starter and working off own initiative * Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is a distinct advantage * An interest in PPE would be of interest * Forklift license and manual handling qualifications are desired but not essential * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a polite and courteous manner and be part of a team. * Willingness to learn and receive product training to help you with your role and continued personal development Alongside the above, you will be required to attend exhibitions over the year which may involve occasional nights away. We are a small, yet, fast paced company therefore you are expected to work as part of a team and manage a busy workload effectively. Working hours are 8.30am-5.30pm, Mon-Thurs, 8.30am-5pm Fridays, also occasional Saturday morning when cover is needed.
