Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Field Sales Person on behalf of our client based in Saltey, Birmingham. The successful Sales Person will be working for a well known induction heating company. Our client design and manufacture induction heating and melting equipment for various sectors across the UK. This is a permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
The Role
*
Making outbound calls, sourcing leads & generating new business
*
Business to business
*
Dealing with new and existing clients
*
Cold calling potential customers' both by telephone and in person
*
Generating new business opportunities
*
Account managing existing and lapsed clients
*
Identifying requirements
*
Making customer follow up calls to close leads as and when required
*
Updating CRM system with customer data
*
Dealing with incoming calls
*
Visiting existing and potential customers at their place of work within the UK
*
Estimating and quoting
Requirements
*
The ideal candidate will be a self starter with an enthusiasm for hitting target and the ability to motivate themselves
*
Industry experience or knowledge within induction heating, forges, foundries or maintenance is preferred but not essential, as product training will be given.
*
The candidate needs to be proactive in sourcing sales leads and be able to pick up the phone and make calls without constant supervision.
*
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels.
*
Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint packages
*
Organised and methodical
** MUST HAVE FULL, CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE AND OWN VEHICLE **
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5.15pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
Salary: up to GBP28K dependant on experience
