Our client is a leading Construction Main Contractor with an annual turnover in excess of ??1 billion. They work across multiple sectors and work on projects ranging from small scale refurbishments to major new build project work. They are currently on the hunt for a Buyer to work on a large scale new build project worth up to ??60 million.Involving the design, construction and installation, this project is an important technical part of the overall construction of the power station based in Hinckley point.The successful candidate will report into the Project Director, you will provide specialist procurement knowledge to all members of the team. Our client will consider anyone from an Assistant Buyer through to Project Buyer, the salary will reflect the successful candidates experience to date.Project Buyer Key responsibilities include:-Procurement specialist with activities across the project (Mechanical: Piping, Pump, Tank...)-Provide competitive and sustainable international procurement solutions-Assists project team with procurement activity involving international sources.-Support the integration with project and business unit procurement teams to add value and generate project savings.
