Housekeeper

We are looking for an experienced and motivated housekeeper to take care of our beautiful country home in South Gloucestershire. The role would be ideal for someone looking for a degree of flexibility in their working week - we would be looking for a minimum of 15 - 20 hours that could be spread across three or four days per week. Duties will include cleaning all areas of the house and outbuildings to a high standard ; ironing and laundry (including regular changes of bed linen) ; regular cleaning of cupboards and storage areas ; ensuring fresh flowers and some fresh produce is available (supplied by the Head Gardener) when the owners of the property are staying ; and other household tasks, as required. You will report on a day to day basis to the Estate Manager who lives on the grounds. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in and help care for a beautiful home. There is a small and friendly team working at the property taking care of the garden and maintenance for the house and gardens. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and must be discreet and be used to working to very high standards. Excellent references are essential. You will need to use your own car to get to and from the property so own transport is also essential. Competitive hourly rates will be offered in line with experience.
