Are you an experienced Maths teacher looking for something a little different? We have a great opportunity for an adaptable teacher looking to step away from mainstream teaching. If this sounds interesting then please keep reading.

Our clients are a Community School providing secondary education for students in Key Stage 4, all of whom are unable to attend mainstream schools. Reasons for this include long term illness, behaviour issues, social, emotional or mental health issues, exclusions or teenage parenthood.

Having recently had a complete refurbishment, this is an opportunity to work in a modern building and help make a positive difference to the lives of students who really need your help.

The successful candidate will be teaching GCSE Maths to small groups of students at different levels hence a good understanding of differentiation in the classroom in essential as is strong behaviour management.

This is a permanent post to start in April 2017, although if you are available earlier there may be an opportunity to do some work at the school in order to familiarise yourself before starting.

This is a great opportunity for somebody to:

- Gain experience working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Work in a specially resourced provision
- Expand your knowledge of working with students with challenging behaviour
- Be offered ongoing CPD and progression opportunities

Please send your CV to Greg Burns, who is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application, right up to you starting with the school.
