A Burnham-On-Sea based, leading and highly regarded accountancy practice, undergoing continued growth and expansion is looking to recruit a Semi Senior / Senior, Accounts or Tax, focused professional, with the potential to mould the role, around the preferences of the right individual. Client Details Based in Burnham-On-Sea, this accountancy practice is a leading regional independent firm, with a strong reputation across the South West and further afield, acting for wide ranging clients to include significant corporate clients, though to smaller sole traders and partnerships. The firm has a structured development programme, within a team focused environment, providing staff with clear paths to develop and progress in their accounting careers. Description Joining as a Semi Senior / Senior, Accounts or Tax professional, in the firm, dependent on the preference of the right person and in which route, they are interested to continue their career, you will be based in the firms Burnham-On-Sea offices. You will take responsibility for either the preparation of accounts, tax, VAT and other responsibilities, for a mixed and varied client base of primarily limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. Or you may have a more tax focused role, preparing personal and corporate tax returns and working with the firms tax team, on wider tax advisory projects, should you have a preference to carve a career down the taxation route. There will be genuine potential for increasing responsibility with client contact, relationship management and progress within the team and firm. Profile You may be AAT or ATT qualified, ACA or ACCA, ATT studying/finalist or newly qualified, with a background in the accountancy practice sector, preparing accounts, tax and other services, for varied clients from start to finish, with an interest in the tax side,. Or, you may have focused your career in tax and be looking to further your career down this route, or interested diversify into accounts , alternatively. They want to consider a range of experience across Semi Senior / Senior, Accounts or Tax levels and mould the position around the right person. You will be looking for a firm and role that offers the scope to progress in level, responsibility and client contact, within a highly successful firm of accountants. Job Offer ??18,000 - ??28,000 plus benefits, negotiable, dependent on experience and background.
