HLTA Required for a special school in South Somerset

We are looking to recruit a HLTA who has experience of teaching/support young people with ASC and Complex Learning Difficulties at a Special Educational Needs school in Somerset.The ideal candidate should be someone who supported young people of any age group in the past and able to build rapport and manage behaviour effectively with young people with Autism and challenging behaviour. The role is full-time and will be contract basis.Higher Level Teaching AssistantThe hours per week are 37.50 with a Salary Grade 12, Point 22 - ??17,911.Term time only (39 weeks).Job PurposeTo complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility foragreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision involving planning,preparation and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term, wholeclasses.
