My client, an international, market leading multidisciplinary Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their innovative design Team based in Leeds.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have 2 years+ experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation and Drainage Projects for Private Developers, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
Candidates are also required to have experience completing technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Foul and Surface Water Drainage Strategy and SuDS design using Microdrainage.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Flood Alleviation design or Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro or Infoworks ICM.
You will join a friendly and supportive team of design Engineers and have the opportunity to manage and deliver Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation, Surface Water and Drainage Engineering Projects for Private Developers, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
Candidates will be required to support junior team members and complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Surface Water Management Plans, Flood Alleviation Scheme design, Drainage Impact Assessments, Surface and Foul Water Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
The role will also involve bid proposals and developing new business opportunities with Clients.
