Platinum Recruitment's Chef Division is currently representing a 4 star hotel in Stratford upon Avon and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team.
CLIENT
This amazing 4 star hotel in Stratford upon Avon has just under 200 bedrooms, they are now looking for an outstanding Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade to maintain and exceed their already enviable reputation. As part of one of the UKs best known hotel groups, the food operation is at a very high standard and they are looking for a Sous Chef to uphold their reputation. The hotel is very popular and located close to Warwick Castle making it a perfect location for tourists. As part of a hotel group they also offer outstanding career development opportunities for anyone looking to advance their career.
ROLE
The new Sous Chef will be joining a talented and ambitious kitchen brigade of 9 Chefs and will work closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in developing and mentoring any Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs in the kitchen. There may also be the opportunity to run functions on occasion. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the smooth running of their section and will work closely with the rest of the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service. The Sous Chef will ideally have experience in 4 or 5 star hotels. If you have worked in a brasserie or bistro style restaurant this will also be an advantage.
