We are recruiting a Jigs and Fixture Designer on a 3-month contract for a leading supplier of optical equipment for the aerospace, defence, industrial and scientific industries. They are looking to recruit a Draughtsman with a background in automotive manufacturing top support with design of new fixtures.
The Role:
- You will responsible for producing 3D models of production fixtures for optical components using Solidworks and then follow through producing 2D manufacturing drawings of such.
Skills:
- You will be able to demonstrate recent Solidworks design experience, ideally with jigs, fixtures, machine shop or similar environment.
- Experienced in the design of jigs and fixtures for CNC, cutting machines would be advantageous.
