What will I be responsible for?

What will I be responsible for?
Joining the team as an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing operational leadership working in conjunction with the site leadership team of EHS Manager and Engineering Manager to drive safety, compliance, staff engagement and best in class performance. On a daily basis this will involve:
- Managing, via direct reports, the day to day operation of Trident Park ERF’s activities
- Ensuring, through constant review, a cost effective, quality service is carried out identifying opportunities for business improvement, operating within and adhering to the relevant budgets set for the facility.
- Monitoring of all associated running costs e.g. water, gas, electricity and chemicals to ensure effective use of resources, minimise environmental impact and minimise costs.
- Production and dissmeniation of site KPIs and metrics in line with reporting schedules.
- Delivering and implementing a pro-active approach to maximise site productivity and minimise downtime and interruption to generation.
- Assisting in producing Trident Park ERF Business Plan
- Managing and developing all Trident Park ERF employees to maximise their potential to themselves and the business, and providing strong leadership regarding employee engagement
- Carrying out annual and timely Performance Annual Reviews (PARs) of all direct reportees
- Extensive and proven knowledge of the waste industry
- Legislative knowledge within the waste industry
- People management experience within a large department / region
- Practical implementation of corporate management systems
- Educated to at least ONC/HNC/HND level, or equivalent, in a relevant technical discipline and/or a formal business qualification
- Full UK driving license
