Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation that builds, manages and maintains homes for people across the South West. They are now looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.

As the Sales Manager, you will oversee the Sales function and ensure the delivery of an effective and responsive service to customers purchasing their home. 

Leading a team of Sales Consultants, you’ll maximise sales of all home ownership initiatives relating to open market home ownership. You’ll inspire your team to perform to the best of their ability, both personally and for the organisation. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Implementing a strategy that maximises profitability which can be re-invested back into the organisation 
- Overseeing the implementation of sales and marketing suites 
- Ensuring that Sales Consultants are fully trained and comply with legislation 
- Progressing sales through to completion 
- Attending site meetings for new schemes and liaising with Site Managers to ensure access to the site and sales suite for potential buyers 
- Keeping abreast of changes within the housing market 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience of selling homes for private ownership and through low cost home ownership schemes 
- Previous experience of managing a small team and/or people management experience 

Commercially astute and articulate, as the Sales Manager, you’ll be highly organised with a methodical and accurate approach. Excellent relationship-building skills are also key, as is the ability to work well under pressure. 

Experience and knowledge of dealing with conveyancing would be beneficial to your application.
