Service Engineer - Electrical and Electronic

£30,5000 + Van + Phone + Overtime

This manufacturer of weighing, feeding and process control systems is looking to recruit an Electrical and Electronic Service Engineer with a good knowledge of Mechanics.

You will carry out routine servicing, breakdown response, and commissioning for their range of electronic bagging machines, weigh feeders, and belt weighers.

You will develop good relation with customers and give some phone support when required.

Permanent position. Approximately 4 days per week out in client's factories, and 1 day per week in Bingham. 37 hour working week.

Must have good knowledge of control systems and transducers, and be competent to work on 440VAC systems.

The mechanical side will include conveyors, screw feeders, motors, valves, and clamping systems.

Must be smart, personable, hard working and reliable.

The role will be varied and interesting, and cover a wide range of products and end-user industries.

There will be some work staying away in the UK and occasional overseas work. Estimated total: 25 nights per year maximum.
