We are currently looking to recruit Full & Part Time Support Workers

Location: Barking
Contract Type: Permanent - 33 hours per week (Shift work Mon-Sun) plus Permanent Part Time 16-22 hours per week (every Sat and Sun day shifts)
Salary:  £8 - £10 p/h Dependent On Experience  

Essential requirement: NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care in Children and Young People.

The Vine Residential Services (TVRS) are an independent care provider who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff to share this commitment. Successful applications will be required to consent to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

TVRS offer a range of care services for young people with learning disabilities; autism and other complex conditions. Based either at the Residential Home or within the Activity Centre, both located in Barking.

To support our continued growth, TVRS are currently recruiting Support Workers to deliver quality day to day care to our service users. You will play a key role inproviding young people with the opportunity to experience a wider social network to meet new people and experience different activities outside of their normal environment. Helping them to develop social and life skills,which will empower them to make choices, enhance confidence and promote independent living skills.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about improving lives and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.  

You must be:

•    Ability to remain calm in an emergency
•    Non-judgemental/discriminatory
•    Able to work flexible/unsociable hours (including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays)
•    Respectful of confidentiality
•    Able to promote effective listening, communication and time keeping skills
•    Able to write accurate and legible reports

As we are regulated by OFSTED the successful applicants will require the following certificate:
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care in Children and Young People.
